The Edge 300 is an excellent patient monitor for use within an ambulance, hospital or medical clinic. It's ergonomic design and reliable performance make the Edge Vitals Signs Monitor the new standard by which others are compared.
This is a highly accurate unit with a bright display, easy to read numbers and crisp waveforms. Although similar to the Datascope AccuTor Plus or GE DynaMap, the Edge Series is priced up to 50% less. Among the robust features you will find dedicated stat keys to take a BP, the ability to freeze the screen, print, silence alarms and toggle the display. You will also discover an intuitive menu structure that is controlled by a push and rotate knob, similar to the higher end monitors costing 4 to 5 times as much. The user has complete control over the frequency of NIBP measurements, the option of selecting the NIBP table or waveform display, complete volume adjustment and alarm settings. An optional printer can assist in maintaining a permanent record.
The Edge Series is designed with ruggedness in mind and can withstand the shock of a 5 foot drop. The screen is reinforced to prevent puncture and damage.
When configured with an ECG, the MDPro Edge can simultaneously display an ECG lead waveform, ST level numeric and an NIBP table. An optional printer can generate ECG rhythm strips for paramedics, physicians or hard copy retention.
Other options include a mounting solution for a bed-rail, pole or nearby wall. A rolling stand, rechargeable 10-hour lithium ion battery and software for PC storage and review.
