The GE AKTA Prime FPLC is a compact one-step purification liquid chromatography system that operates with most compact columns. This innovative and versatile GE FPLC system is engineered for high quality gel filtration, HIC, affinity chromatography, buffer exchange, and ion exchange.
The AKTA Prime is also designed with the AKTA Prime View 5.0 software which features a sizable library of easy-to-use pre-programmed methods with optimized protocols. These advanced methods are best applied in applications involving affinity tagged proteins, antibodies, and sample clean up.
Engineered using the latest LC technology, the GE AKTA Prime delivers reliable results and eliminates the risk of errors such as spillage or misplaced tubes.
The AKTA Prime system consists of UV monitors, valves for buffer, a system pump, a fraction collector, and a sample injection.
