DESCRIPTION

The BWUX1 Plan Achromat beer brewing / wine making microscope provides a microscope for breweries and vintners with high quality plan achromat objectives.

Objective Lenses: DIN 4x, 10x, 40xR, 100xR (oil immersion) Plan Achromat objectives. All microscope objectives are parfocalled, parcentered and color-coded. Quad objective turret is ball-bearing mounted for smooth, precise positioning of objectives, features textured rubber knurling for easy grip. Mounted in reverse position to facilitate ease in changing slides.
Eyepieces: Widefield 10x eyepieces / FN 18mm. Diopter on left eyepiece. Binocular Siedentopf viewing head with 30° inclined binocular eyepiece with interpupillary adjustment 50mm to 75mm. Left eyetube has diopter adjustment of +/-5.
Total Magnification: 40x, 100x, 400x, 1000x.
Specimen Stage: Large 140mm x 132mm stage (5.5" x 5.2"), with professional quality, built-in, low profile, ball-bearing mounted mechanical specimen holder with low-position coaxial controls, 76mm (x) by 50mm (y) movement with graduations of 0.1mm. 1.25 N.A. Abbe condenser has rack & pinion focusing and iris diaphragm with preset position and filter holder.
Focusing: Coaxial coarse and fine focusing controls, fine focus graduations of 0.002mm, 25mm vertical travel range, tension adjustment on coarse focus knob, and safety rack stop to prevent damage to objective lenses and slides.
Illumination: 3W LED with variable rheostat control and on/off switch.110~240V power supply. LED bulb is rated to 20,000 hours of use. Includes four AA rechargeable batteries and recharger. Use plugged in or cordless.
Camera Option: Choose from binocular microscope, digital 3 megapixel USB camera with measuring software, or LCD touchscreen tablet with image capture and measurement options.
Size & Weight: 8.4" W x 13.8" D x 14.4" H, 16 lbs.
Warranty: 5 Year warranty, excluding bulb, cord and fuse.
Includes: Dust cover, blue filter, extra fuse, immersion oil.
