The Pharmacia GeneQuant Pro RNA/DNA Calculator (now GE Lifesciences) is optimized for RNA/DNA quantification and oligonucleotide characterization.

  • Large, easy to read display shows all relevant results at once.
  • Detects down to 20 ng of DNA (using ultra microvolume cell with 7 µl of undiluted sample), displaying A260/A280 and A260/A230 ratios for nucleic acid purity checks.
  • Protein determination at 595, 546, and 562 nm, with up to 27 standards (including repeats) to construct the standard curve.
  • Bacterial cell culture measurement at OD 600.
  • Calculates oligonucleotide conversion factor (µg/ml), molecular weight and theoretical Tm (for PCR annealing temperature).
  • Printer ready
