National Trench Safety carries a diverse line of highway crash absorption systems to meet a variety of needs.

The Compressor is recognized as a self-restoring, low maintenance attenuator by the FHWA. It is designed to take repeated impacts with minimal or no repairs.  The system is designed using telescoping, ultra high strength steel side panels, which also redirect vehicle impacts away from the back corner of a truck that can lead to more substantial injuries or death.  The system also uses a specially formulated HDPE plastic to form the attenuator modules.  The Compressor is recognized as the shortest TL-3 self-restoring attenuator at 21’-6”.  In addition to its safety features, the system’s engineering also balances installation as the system is delivered ready to install with only 30 bolts needed to secure the system to the pavement.  The Compressor is NCHRP 350 Test Level 2 and 3 approved.
