DESCRIPTION

Motic B3 Siedentopf Biological Microscope includes the following:

Objective Lenses: Ball bearing quintuple nosepiece holds your choice of super high contrast (ASC), plan achromat or phase contrast objectives. Phase contrast setup includes phase condenser and phase centering telescope.
Eyepieces: Siedentopf widefield 10x eyepieces, 30° inclined binocular tubes. (WF15x and WF20x eyepieces are also available). Head rotates 360°. Trinocular version has a trinocular port with a 3-position sliding rod that directs light 100% to binocular eyepieces, or 100% to vertical tube, or 70% to vertical tube and 30% to binocular eyepieces.
Total Magnification: (choose when ordering)

Achromatic Super High Contrast (ASC) - 40x, 100x, 400xr, 1000xr oil immersion. (Optional 60x ASC objective available).
Plan Achromat objectives - 40x, 100x, 400xr, 1000xr oil immersion. (Optional 20x & 60x plan achromat objectives available).
Plan phase objectives - 100x, 200x, 400xr, 1000xr oil immersion.

Specimen Stage: Large 5.5" x 5.25" rectangular mechanical stage. Includes built in low position coaxial controls with 70mm (x) movement and 50mm (y) movement.
Stand: Rugged cast aluminum, gray enamel finish.
Focusing: Coaxial coarse and fine focusing controls, coarse has tension adjustment, fine is graduated.
Condenser: 1.25 N.A. Abbe condenser has rack & pinion focusing, iris diaphragm, swing-out filter holder with 32mm blue filter included.
Illumination: Built in Koehler illumination, halogen 12v / 20w with intensity control.
Size: 15" high, 16 lbs.
Warranty: Five year warranty excluding electrical parts.
