DESCRIPTION
The Leica RM2255 microtome, designed for fully motorized sectioning of both paraffin- and resin-embedded specimens, offers a broad application spectrum for the routine and research histology laboratory. The Leica RM2255 microtome meets the requirements of users looking for a compact, fully motorized/electronic microtome for their laboratory. The Leica RM2255 microtome is designed for customers wishing to embed samples in paraffin or resin in clinical histopathology and biomedical research. The Leica RM2025 Microtome is fully motorized with a precision step motor for accurate specimen advance and a powerful oversized motor for sectioning. The Leica RM2255 microtome can nevertheless be operated manually using the perfectly counterbalanced hand wheel. The sectioning speed can be adjusted to cut hard materials as well as paraffin-embedded specimens at high throughput without any detriment to sectioning quality.
