With completely enclosed upper and lower pulleys, a guarded blade above and below the cutting zone, and a pusher plate that eliminates the necessity of handling items too close to the blade, safety is a primary benefit of this product. Furthermore, the direct gear driven transmission means there are no belts to replace or adjust.
