PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The PTS-130 DC Hipot belongs to High Voltage Inc.'s PTS series of high potential testers. The PTS Series of DC hipots are combination high voltage DC proof testers, or hipots, and high voltage Megohmmeters. Hipoting, or leakage current measurement, and insulation resistance testing can now be performed with one instrument.
The PTS-130 Hipot contains a two range voltmeter and five range current meter, which lets you measure very low magnitudes of current. It also includes automatic transit protected meters, an insulated Return, a Guard circuit to bypass stray and unwanted leakage current, and an internal high voltage (HV) shorting solenoid with discharge resistor. Surge and transient protection features are also provided in this hipot.
