PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The High Beamer glare tester identifies and documents potentially dangerous glare that occurs with cataract and corneal diseases. The LED light source mimics on-coming headlight, the most common source of glare complaints. High Beamer been in clinical use for over 3 years and is very simple to use. It has a potentiometer that provides infinite brightness (Low to High) and a digital readout to equate brightness. Simply compare distance acuity with and without the High Beamer. If the High Beamer reduces acuity to 20/40 or less, the threshold for cataract surgery is met. (Some regional restrictions exist, contact the insurance provider for more information).
