The collimator specifications include 1.5 mm minimum inherent filtration of aluminum equivalent to 150 kVp, minimum source-to-skin distance is limited to more than 30 cm, 17 x 17 in. radiographic coverage at 40 in. source to image distance with 15 degrees target angle tube, the collimator can be rotated and locked positively 0 to +/-90 degrees from the front position and additional filtration may be gained by inserting 1 or 2 mm aluminum filters.
