The FSM-50R12 offers numerous improvements to increase productivity and provide additional flexibility. A new %22auto load%22 feature provides for fast and easy placement of the fiber holders into the splicer. The FSM-50R12 also benefits from a greatly improved tube heater which shrinks a 12 fiber splice protection sleeve in approximately 45 seconds. Other enhancements include larger capacity batteries, dual direction monitor, and real time arc calibration.
