Product Description
The Fujikura 90R is the mass fusion splicer workhorse of the splicing world. As data demand continues to rise, the solution to handle the increased traffic is to increase fiber counts. As a result, fiber counts being utilized in enterprise data centers, campus, and metro networks have grown enough to make single fiber splicing too costly and timely. High density cabling made possible by SpiderWeb Ribbon® (SWR) and others like it are spurring ribbon splicing activity in places that have traditionally used loose fiber. The 90R is the answer to these changes in splicing demand. With automated splice start, tube heater, wind protector, cleave tracking, and blade rotations for up to 2 cleavers at a time, this splicer frees up operator time for other fiber preparation steps. New to the 90R, you can keep your splicer in the field longer with field replaceable V-grooves. When V-grooves can no longer be cleaned after extended use, or are accidentally damaged, you can resume splicing in minutes by installing the spare set included with your 90R kit.

The AFL Fujikura CT50 is a high-precision, wireless fiber optic cleaver engineered for cleaving single fibers and up to 12-fiber ribbon cables. It is heavily utilized by telecom technicians for splicing prep due to its heavy ruggedization and automated blade maintenance.

• Active Blade Management: When paired via Bluetooth with a compatible Fujikura fusion splicer (like the 90S+ or 45S), the splicer monitors cleave quality and automatically triggers the CT50 to rotate to a fresh blade position when needed. 
• Long Blade Life: The 16-position blade handles up to 60,000 single-fiber cleaves (or 5,000 12-fiber ribbon cleaves) before needing a replacement. 
• Extreme Durability: It features an industry-first shock resistance capable of surviving drops up to 30 inches (76 cm) from any direction.

Fujikura RS03 Thermal Stripper for Ribbon Fiber

The AFL Fujikura S016817 RS03 Thermal Fiber Stripper features a powerful li-ion battery, Bluetooth® capabilities, temperature selection switch for different fibers and operating conditions, plus 3-second (5-second at Eco mode) heating time with beep and LED signal. The heater will soften the coating of the fiber for smooth and fast fiber stripping up to 35 mm. Bluetooth-enabled device will connect wirelessly with a smartphone: Android 5.0 or above, iOS 8.0 or above (iPhone6 or above). The fiber stripping tool accepts Fujikura field and factory style fiber holders: FH-40, FH-50 (except FH-50-250 and FH-50-900), FH-60, FH-70 and FH-100 series. The high-capacity rechargeable battery ensures operation for 600 stripping cycles.
