The Fein Optic RB40-RAB rabies diagnosis testing microscope meets guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL). Objective Lenses: Reversed quintuple nosepiece with slot for analyzer holds the following included DIN Infinity Corrected Optical System (ICOS) Objectives:

Plan Semi Apochromat Fluor 4x Objective, NA 0.13, WD 18.5mm
Plan Semi Apochromat Fluor 10x Objective, NA 0.30, WD 10.6mm
Plan Semi Apochromat Fluor 40x Objective, NA 0.75, WD 0.6mm
Plan Semi Apochromat Fluor 100x Objective, NA 1.28, WD 0.21mm, Oil Immersion

Viewing Head: Trinocular head, with 30° eyetubes. Interpupillary adjustment from 50-75mm. Beam splitter positions of 100/0 and 0/100.
Eyepieces: PL-WF 10x Widefield, plan eyepieces, FN22. Left eyepiece has diopter. Accepts 26mm diameter reticle.
Total Magnification: 40x, 100x, 400x and 1000x.
Specimen Stage: 175 x 145mm mechanical stage with 76mm x 50mm X-Y travel range. Precision 0.1mm. Low position right-hand coaxial controls.
Illumination: High intensity 3W LED Koehler transmitted light system provides a bright and uniform field for each magnification. Voltage 100~240V.
Fluorescence: Fluorescence illumination attachment with six position filter turret. LED fluorescence illuminator with liquid light guide and collimating adapters.
Fluorescence Filter Sets: Includes RFP/TRITC filter cube for rabies diagnosis.
Light Focusing: NA 1.2 Koehler illuminator condenser with swing-out top lens for 2x-100x coverage.
Focusing: Coaxial coarse and fine focusing. Coarse focusing is 30mm with tightness adjustment and rack stop. Fine adjustment of 0.002mm.
