Ideal for simple sequence repeat (SSR) genotyping for linkage map construction (microsatellite markers), mutation detection, DNA sequencing, minisatellites, differential display, DNA fingerprinting/footrprinting, RNase protection, and SDS-PAGE applications

This high throughput unit can run two wide-format gels simultaneously with up to 100 PCR samples in each gel. Each plate set is 500Wx220Lmm (195/8x85/8"). The back plate is UV-transparent, allowing the gel to be photographed without removing it from the plates. The Gel Wrap™ casting system makes gel casting quick and easy. A divided upper reservoir allows the researcher to run independent buffer conditions on either side, or to run just one side of the unit when needed. The sample wells are compativle with multichannel pipettors.

Dual-sided apparatus maximizes sample loading and conserves valuable bench space.
