DESCRIPTION
The Datex Ohmeda Aestiva 5, 7900 Smart Ventilator has a superior performance with a compact design that includes an advanced breathing system (ABS) that is fully integrated into the workstation and provides patient safety by reducing the potential for leaks and misconnects. It is equipped with an Enhanced Sensor Interface Board (ESIB) which provides an interface between the ventilator CPU board and the breathing circuit sensors and several machine switches.




 
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Features include being fully autoclavable with integrated electronics that detect the completes engagement or disengagement of the ABS. The ABS has a one-step bag/vent switch which turns the ventilator On/OFF and a minimum number of parts or tube connections that reduces the potentials for leaks or misconnects. It has a built-in monitoring device for the inspired oxygen, airway pressure and exhaled volume. It has an enhanced monitor integration capability, easily maneuverable and optional integrated auxiliary O2 flowmeter or suction control.
  • Advanced Breathing System (ABS) Features include volume or pressure modes with electronic PEEP, synced intermittent mandatory ventilation (SIMV), direct access to the ventilator parameter settings, pressure support with Apnea backup mode (PSVPro), smart alarms direct user to specific problem or affected parameters, automatically fresh gas flow compensation, minimum O2 flow of 50 mL and dual airflow tubes standard for higher resolution of low flows.
