The Cox Rapid Heat Transfer Sterilizer represents a significant advancement in dry heat sterilization. Because the Cox Dry Heat Sterilizer utilizes dry heat rather than steam and pressure to sterilize, it won’t corrode, dull or pit your instruments or cause them to rust, thus extending the life of every expensive medical tool. There is no need to purchase supplies such as distilled water, rust inhibitors, or chemical solutions for this dry sterilizer.
The superior speed of the Cox Dry Heat Sterilizer makes the turn around time much quicker, which reduces the expense of extra standby instruments.The dry sterilizer contains fewer moving parts and does not require water making the Cox Dry Heat Sterilizer virtually maintenance free.

This dry sterilizer is intended for indoor use in hospitals, medical clinics, dental and orthodontic facilities, or any other environment that requires medical grade sterilization. This dry sterilizer comes equipped with one drawer, the removable basket for the drawer, a tool for changing baskets, and a cooling rack upon which to place the hot baskets. Depending on the size of your practice, you may wish to purchase additional baskets and drawers. Also included are an instrument rack and a mesh basket (burr holder) for sterilizing small/lightweight items. An optional drawer, which is ideal for heat-processing hand pieces, is also available. The drawer is designed to channel the sterilizer’s airflow into the hand piece’s air and water lines.

Tests have been conducted on various surgical and dental instruments as to compatibility with the 375°F (190°C) temperatures. Usually, medical and dental stainless and carbon steel hand pieces are safe in the Cox sterilizer. Always use caution when sterilizing rubber or plastic goods. When in doubt, consult the instrument manufacturer.
A dry heat sterilizer makes an ideal and economical backup for those times when your production sterilizer is down, or out for repairs.
