The Microcap Handheld Capnograph Monitor from Covidien is a reliable and simple-to-use device for assessing your patient's respiratory status in any clinical setting and whether intubated or not.
Accurate:   The Monitor uses Microstream-enabled IR based technology that is CO2 specific for the most accurate results. It shows clear, crisp waveforms and is completely accurate at the first reading. There is no need to wait a while for results due to the device's fast power-up.
Versatile:   The single integrated sensor allows the monitor to be used for all patients in all clinical environments. It has both neonate and adult modes that are simple to switch between without re-calibrating. No external sensor or cable is needed. It can be used for neonate, pediatric, and adult patients and with or without supplemental oxygen. It includes a low sampling flow rate of 50 ml/min for neonates.
Interface & Connectivity:   The Microcap Portable Capnograph features a graphic LCD display screen with LED backlight with contrast and brightness controls. There are a few interface options. The Nurse Call Interface provides remote alarm connectivity to existing call systems and the Bernoulli MSM wireless technology allows for data transfers to a central monitoring system. It is compatible with Philips (ValueLink) and SpaceLabs (Flexport) monitoring systems.
