The Clearwater Model 500SS Polymer Preparation and Storage System includes one 800 gallon 316 stainless steel tank with 316 stainless steel support structure. Outside of tank, top framing, and inside of tank glass blasted to uniform finish and the system includes 2" crossover valve between the age tank and draw down tank for draining, two 2" floor drains, one Ultrasonic level transducer for automatic sequencing and one mini ball float for tank overflow protection. A removable polypropylene tank cover is also included.

 
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Includes three variable frequency drives (VFDs). The first drive controls a 1/2 hp stainless steel volumetric dry polymer feeder, providing 0 to 30 pounds per hour of dry polymer. A second VFD controls a 1-1/2 hp electric mixer with gear reducer turning one 14" stainless steel hydrofoil via a 1" diameter shaft. One drive controls a 0 to 12 gallon per minute polymer pump (Moyno 344) coupled to 1 hp TEFC motor (40 psi max discharge pressure).  Stainless steel wetting funnel with venturi mixer below the water surface for dry polymer wetting and dispersion.  A second in-tank venturi for additional mixing.  2" electric solenoid valve plumbed to the unit with manual valves to divert water to the wetting funnel and venturi. 5 hp TEFC centrifugal booster pump with stainless steel pump housing and impeller is plumbed to the unit to ensure adequate water pressure for batching. Dilution water piping is 304SS. Fully automatic sequencing, with manual override capability. Operator controls are physical HOA selector switches on front of panel, selector switch(es) allow for remote or local speed control of polymer pump(s). High and low voltage controls contained in a NEMA 4 enclosure, all control components are UL approved. Removable fiberglass stairs provide access to 110 lbs 304SS feed hopper. Single point electrical hook-up (460v, 3 ph, 20 amps)
  • Additional Features:  2"  wye strainer at inlet, IFM SS magnetic dilution water flow meter with digital display provides low flow alarm. Dilution water flow meter linked to dry polymer screw feeder for consistent make down concentration. 0.10% to 0.35% solution strength, field adjustable.

  • Level surface - Roof or enclosure recommended

  • 50-120 gpm clean dilution water. Max allowable pressure 80 psi
  • Plumbing to polymer discharge location. 3/4" to 2" pipe size recommended.
