Permanent desiccant is contained in the control unit and a red light indicates operation of the 4½ hour absorption period while a green light indicates operation of the ½ hour regeneration of the desiccant.
The cabinet features a spacious 2 cu.ft. interior volume and a large, in-door dial hygrometer for easy visualization of rH%. Three adjustable, removable, and perforated shelves facilitate full circulation of air. Shelf rails can be repositioned on any one of 15 steps set at 28 mm intervals. The gasketed door opens to the right and closes with two latches for a tight seal. Interior opening measures 25 x 43 cm (10 x 17").
