It's designed for high-force sedimentation in microcentrifuge tubes under refrigerated conditions.

The unit includes 24 reversible adapters that allow the axis of rotation to be set at a 25 or 45° angle. The rotor accommodates twenty-four 1.8 mL microcentrifuge tubes.
