DESCRIPTION
The AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation 175S1G4 is a solid-state microwave amplifier that is a portable, self-contained, air-cooled, broadband instrument, designed for applications where instantaneous bandwidth, high gain and linearity are essential. To lower distortion and improve stability in high power stages, the 175S1G4 employs its push-pull circuitry. When used with a sweep generator, the AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation 175S1G4 will provide a minimum of 175 watts of RF power. The 175S1G4 has a low level of spurious signals and linearity and is therefore used as a driver amplifier in testing wireless and communication components and subsystems.
Compatible with a variety of communication technologies such as CDMA, W-CDMA, TDMA, GSM etc., the 175S1G4 can be used as a test instrument covering multiple frequency bands and is also apt for EMC Test applications where undistorted modulation envelopes are desired.
