Cooling Trailer Description

If you’ve spend any time out on an oilfield, whether you are working or just touring your facility, you know just how hot it can get. The temperatures can reach well over 100 degrees, but that doesn’t mean the work stops. Of course, when it gets too warm, there needs to be a way for your employees to cool down. Cooling trailers are an ideal solution, and they should be a part of every oilfield large or small.

Features of cooling trailers

When it comes time to choose your cooling trailer for rent, the first thing you need to do is consider the number of employees you have. This will give you a better idea of the size of the trailer you should be getting. If you have a large number of employees, then you may need to have more than one trailer so you can accommodate everyone during breaks.

About cooling trailers

When the employees are getting too hot and need to get out of the sun, or when they go on a break, they can retreat to the cooling trailer. This is a small trailer with open or closed sides depending on the model, as well as spaces where the employees can sit and relax. Most of the models available have at least one fan as well, so there is some cool air blowing through the trailer. Many who use these trailers will also place coolers filled with water for the employees to drink so they do not overheat.

The cooling trailers are not complicated devices at all. You can simply have them towed into place and leave them for your employees to use during the hot days out on the oilfield. In addition to having some water or Gatorade in the trailer, you may also want to add some snacks for your workers. They should be comfortable and happy while they are working. Being in an oilfield can be backbreaking work, so providing them with a retreat is more than just a nice gesture; it is a necessity.
