These compact reverse osmosis systems provide high-quality, pretreated water at a flowrate of 6, 12, or 24L per hour
Control panel indicates the status of the system, including a "stand-by" function when the reservoir is full and an alert if the carbon needs changing or the membrane is not functioning. The monitoring system also utilizes indicator lights to alert the user of vital information, including membrane performance and reservoir level. A series of internal pressure gauges allow monitoring of membrane operating pressure and pressure drops across the pretreatment filters.
A special membrane protection system (MPS) enhances membrane life and performance, inhibits scale build-up on the membrane surface, and eliminates the need to soften the water. An automatic flush function cleanses the RO membranes, also helping to eliminate scale build-up. The 6L per hour system uses available in-house line pressure. The 12 and 24L per hour systems use a new pump technology for silent operation. Systems can be bench- or wall-mounted.
Optional storage reservoirs are constructed of rigid fluorinated polyethylene and filtered to prevent airborne contamination. The fluorination prevents recontamination of the water from contact with impure surfaces. Level controls can be set to start and stop the system and prevent operation if there is insufficient water. Outlets allow water to be drawn directly from the tank to a dishwasher. A remote-mounting control panel accessory allows controls and indicators to be mounted up to 3m (10') away from the system.
