The Scan Combiflex 18 is a powerful concrete floor grinder that is ideal for small contractors looking for high productivity from an 18-inch machine. The Scan Combiflex 18 is part of the family of 18-inch grinding and polishing machines from Scanmaskin. At 210 lbs, it is heavier and has more power than the Scan Combiflex 450, making it perfect for mid-size jobs where extra grinding power is needed.
The Scan Combiflex 18 is great for light coating removal as well as grinding and polishing of concrete, terrazzo, and natural stone surfaces. This unit can also be used for grinding hardwood floors when equipped with our wood tools and sanding pads.
When it comes to using the machine, the controls couldn’t be simpler. Just press the green button to start the machine, and the red button to stop it.
Simple twist knobs control the direction and speed of the spinning heads. You can easily switch the direction of the grinding heads to ensure longer life and even wearing of your diamond tooling. This maximizes their use and saves money in the long run. You can also adjust the speed between 300 to 1,100 RPMs, letting you dial in the perfect cutting rate.
