The TS Meter-D refractometer is equipped with five built-in scales offering a wide reading range and the versatility to read any sample required, regardless of the application. The device offers direct reading of urine specific gravity, serum or plasma protein concentration, cupric sulfate specific gravity, refractive index (nD), and Brix, all of which are temperature corrected. Simple calibration is provided for use in any setting. User-friendly three-button fully automatic operation provides fast, accurate results. A stainless steel well and hardened glass sample measurement surface are designed to withstand years of use, and can be easily cleaned and readied for sample measurement. This battery operated unit is portable for use in any location.

The optional IR communication package includes a docking station that allows for reading log, calibration log, and custom scale transfer to any laboratory PC via RS-232-C serial port.
