Designed for use in Hazmat detection, soil headspace screening, and confined space entry, MicroFID II portable flame ionization detector provides measurements over an operating range of 0.1 to 50,000 ppm VOCs, to better define the severity of a monitored hot zone. MicroFID II features a metal hydride hydrogen fuel cylinder for up to 70 hours of continuous use at very low pressure (80 psi) to maximize field operation up-time. Detection data can be displayed on a PDA and uploaded to a PC through a built-in Bluetooth wireless interface.
