PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The LST1G+ geotechnical rig is ideal for any soil sampling application, including those in challenging limited-access areas. The unit is equipped with a 4-inch-diameter auger for drilling 6-inch boreholes to depths of 100 feet, and it includes a tower, cathead and 140-pound safety hammer for standard penetration testing. It offers a lifting capacity of 5,000 pounds to ensure easy removal of augers and extensions. A Honda 20-horsepower gas engine powers the LST1G+ geotechnical rig, and the hydraulic system provides a speed of 150-rpm at 10 gpm. For added versatility, Little Beaver’s optional interchangeable head allows users to switch from soil sampling to water well drilling.
