The DM1000 Economy Package is a great choice for general laboratory microscopy
The DM1000 Basic Lab Package is a step up for a general laboratory microscope. It is designed for longer periods of use, incorporating Leica ergonomic features with the addition of a telescopic x/y coaxial stage control with friction adjustment and rubberized focus knobs for greater control. The five Hi-Plan objectives included cover the full range of magnifications from 4x to 100x oil. Both eyepieces can be used with or without eyeglasses, have adjustable diopters, and are 10x with a 20mm field of view. Immersion oil is included.
The DM2000 LED Lab Package is a great way to get started with a Leica microscope that can be the centerpiece of continued growth for the lab. The microscope is very stable and can support the addition of fluorescence, cameras, and other accessories used for multiple contrast techniques. It features an Aplanatic/Achromatic Flip-in condenser, telescopic stage control with friction adjustment, rubberized control surfaces, and oil immersion object holder. The five N-Plan objectives included provide excellent resolution and cover the full range of magnifications from 5x to 100x oil. Immersion oil is included.
All Leica DM series microscopes are available in LED versions that eliminate the need to change bulbs while permitting cool operation. Ceramic stage inserts are standard as are patented height adjustable focus knobs, symmetrical operation on each side of the microscope, user selected stage control from either the left or right side, and infinity optics.
