LabGard® ES AIR Limited NU-545E Class II Microbiological Safety Cabinet
The LabGard® ES (Energy Saver) AIR Limited model NU-545E Laminar Flow Biosafety Cabinet (LFBSC) is 230-volt NSF/ANSI49 and EN12469 listed bench/tabletop model, optionally available with a base support stand, for operation as a console model. The LabGard® ES Model NU-545E utilizes an Energy Saver DC ECM Motor optimally determined forward curved fan for each model size/width to maximize both energy efficiency and filter loading capacity. The Energy Saver ECM Motor is controlled to airflow set points via a solid-state DC motor controller with digital dual thermistor airflow sensors that provide an automatic compensation (constant volume control) for both filter loading and line voltage variances.

IntelliFlow – Accurate Airflow
Using the same technology as your accredited biosafety cabinet certifier, model NU-545E features the use of two digital dual thermistor airflow sensors in the cabinet’s download and exhaust airflow to measure, monitor, and control downflow and inflow air velocities ensuring safe airflow performance.

Monolithic Construction
NuAire 500 series Biosafety Cabinets are constructed as a single piece stainless steel shell. Large sheets of heavy-duty stainless steel are bent and welded into place to create a pressure tight cabinet shell eliminating the use of gaskets, sealants, rivets, and potential weak spots prone to leaks.
Dynamic Air Barrier
An air barrier of 0.53 meters per section (105 fpm) is created by a vacuum at the front of the cabinet accented by an aerodynamic armrest creating the strongest air barrier available protecting your technicians.
