The La Marzocco Linea Classic S AV is still a true, dual boiler, auto-volumetric espresso machine that allows for complete control over the amount of water passing through the group head for consistent shots of espresso. However, with this latest update comes an integrated, dual PID that allows for quick, electronic changes to both boilers and the amount of water passing through the espresso puck without interrupting a barista’s workflow. The Linea Classic S AV is a true workhorse that allows saturated group heads to keep the circulation of hot water flowing, ensuring that temperatures at the group heads remain consistent.

With the update to the Linea Classic S AV comes the ability to connect to La Marzocco’s Pro App, which allows for quick changes across multiple features found on the machine. With the Pro App, baristas can modify things like coffee and steam boiler temperatures, view usage reports, and see how close to regular maintenance the Linea Classic S AV is. La Marzocco is consistently updating the Pro App, meaning that users will have access to new features with each software update instead of having to replace parts and components manually.
