The powerful Elmasonic S150 ultrasonic bath is designed to process large numbers of small or large laboratory samples, with an internal tank depth of less than 4 inches. The tank configuration is also optimum for cleaning surgical instruments. The S150 operates at 37 kHz in three ultrasonic modes: Normal mode for mixing, Sweep mode for cleaning, or Degas mode. The timer can be set from 1-30 minutes or continuous operation. A series of LEDs continuously and simultaneously show set time and remaining time.
The microprocessor-controlled generator in this sonic cleaner maintains constant ultrasonic power, sensing and adjusting for light or heavy loads in the tank. Digital operation with power tracking ensures reproducible performance from run to run. The rear drain is controlled by a valve on the side of the tank for easy access. For safety purposes the unit turns off automatically after 12 hours of continuous operation. The tank cover can be flipped over and used as a drip tray.
