Model 250 has three power outlets for maximum versatility.

Two of the outlets are used for heating up to 1800 watts (mantles up to 22L). The third outlet (360 watts), used normally for cooling, is programmable to provide power below, above, or at the entered temperature. This third outlet can also be used to turn on an alarm for an over or under temperature condition. Controller has the ability to display temperature without heating. The Model 250 controls temperature to within ± 0.1°C of liquids from 1uL to 22 L.
