Chart-MVE Aluminum Species Dewar XC 47/11-6
The MVE XC 47/11 is a durable, lightweight dewar with a large-capacity tank capable of storing up to 6216 x 1/2cc straws or 1320 vials (1.2 and 2.0mL). The MVE XC series tanks have general capacities ranging from 700-1500 straws and 150-1000+ vials. In fact, the "XC" on the dewar denotes "Extra Capacity", and its tank maintains a maximum LN2 volume of 47.4L. This unit effectively maintains varying quantities of specimens at liquid nitrogen temperatures for 11-32 weeks under normal conditions, and its high strength neck tube is designed to minimize liquid nitrogen loss.
