The VACUUBRAND® PC3001 Basic grows with your needs

The PC3001 Basic is easy to operate. Turn the pump on, and manually turn the control to match pumping speed to the preferred vapor flow rate. Controlling pump speed to control vacuum reduces wear, noise and electricity costs over two-point methods. An integrated gas ballast allows continuous condensate purge if desired. The PC3001 Basic also has a space-saving stand to take up less space on your benchtop or in your fume hood.

Upgrade your PC3001 with two different, easily attached modules. Upgrade Module 1: This module adds a CVC3000 controller to provide powerful automated control of your application. Automatically find and follow boiling curves, provide precise one-point control, and even program complex multi-step programs, in your choice of millibar, Torr or hectoPascal units. This module also adds an inlet catchpot to preserve pump performance when there is condensation in the vacuum line.

Upgrade Module 2: This module adds an outlet condenser with catchpot to condense solvent vapors that pass through the pump helping to keep the lab environment clean. It also reduces pump noise even further.

Addition of the two upgrade modules to the PC3001 Basic gives you the complete functionality of the PC3001 VARIO Pro.

A powerful Chemistry-design diaphragm pump with speed control is suitable for many benchtop applications.It has a 2 mbar (1.5 Torr) ultimate vacuum – enough to evaporate most solvents, and a free air capacity of 34 lpm (1.2 cfm). The system can be upgraded with partially or fully with two different accessory kits to make it a full-fledged PC3001 VARIO® Pro system (VWR no. 97007-236).
