The Aurora Biomed TRANSFORM 800 Microwave Digestion System is a top-loading, closed vessel system that features high-pressure capabilities to improve digestion quality and decrease overall sample preparation time. It provides optimal performance and consistent sample preparation quality along with premium safety functions.
The Aurora Biomed TRANSFORM 800 produces shorter digestion times by simultaneously running 10 closed vessels at a working pressure and temperature of up to 800 psi and 250 degrees Celsius. The closed spinning carousel evenly distributes microwave fields throughout the chamber to ensure uniform heat and reduced sample preparation time.
It also helps prevent volatile element loss with a computer-controlled system that automatically records conditions during digestions. The software features real-time control of temperature, pressure tracking, graphic display, automatic data storage, unlimited method storage, and a complete record of instrument parameters for easy monitoring.
The vessels and chambers are lined with Teflon to permit any strength of acid or base, including hydrofluoric acid. This is combined with a pre-programmed EPA method directory to offer full compliance with EPA protocols.
The TRANSFORM 800 also includes advanced safety innovations, such as two inches of stainless steel and an inner spring loaded lid to lock conditions within, rupture disks and vent detection that automatically shut down power in response to over-pressure, and an attachable exhaust tube to direct and expel any toxic environments.
