ASTM F410 Floor Tiles Wear Layer Measuring

DESCRIPTION

This microscope meets standards for ASTM F410 test method for measuring the wear layer thickness of resilient flooring coverings by optical measurement. The ASTM F410 test standard measuring microscope includes the following items and can be ordered with or without a microscope camera and software.



Viewing Head: Binocular 30º inclined gemel viewing head with interpupillary adjustment of 54-75mm. Diopters +/-5 on each eyetube. If camera option is selected trinocular microscope is supplied.
Objective Lens: LWD 5x metallurgical objective lens, WD 10.8mm, NA 0.15.
Magnification: 50x
Eyepieces: High eyepoint widefield plan 10x eyepieces, FN22, accepts a 26mm diameter reticle.
Eyepiece Micrometer: Fitted with a micrometer ruler 10mm / 200 divisions, when using the 5x objective each division = 0.01mm for the smallest division.
Stage Micrometer: Includes NIST certified 1mm / 100 division stage micrometer, with each division = 0.01mm, used for calibration of the eyepiece micrometer.
Specimen Stage: Double layer mechanical stage 175mm x 145mm stage with coaxial adjustment movement range of 76mm (X) x 42mm (Y). Includes metal plate. Mechanical stage holds specimen.
Illumination: Reflected Koehler illumination (near vertical illumination) 5w LED, with oblique light device, centerable and adjustable field and aperture diaphragm, warm color. Voltage 100~240V. Includes 360º rotatable analyzer, and polarizer for reflected light. Reflected illuminator arm includes filter slots for colored sliders (sold separately).
Focusing: Reflected frame has coaxial focus system with tension adjustment and rack stop. Coarse range 28mm, fine precision of 0.002mm. Maximum sample height is 78mm.
Digital Option: Includes c-mount adapter, 5mp microscope camera and software for image capture and measurement.
