DESCRIPTION

The Trimble® Yuma® rugged tablet computer is designed for ease of  use and high performance mobility. Great for GIS applications - it's  like bringing a complete PC out into the field. It features an Intel® Atom™ 1.6 GHz processor, with a massive 32 or 80 GB SSD and 1 GB of DDR3 RAM. It runs the state-of-the-art Windows 7 Pro operating system. The 7-inch screen and IP67 rating means it is tough enough to work in the most challenging outdooor environments. Use Bluetooth for short-range wireless connection to other equipment, or 802.11 WLAN if you have a local network you’d like to connect with. To collect images in the field, features a built-in 2-megapixel forward facing and a 1.3 megapixel rear facing camera. Its sort of like a handheld, but on "the juice".

The SXBlue2 GPS uses innovative technology that delivers sub-meter accuracy in real-time. There is no need for post-processing or a beacon receiver when WAAS, EGNOS, or MSAS are available. Even in forestry applications and other difficult mapping environments where GPS reception is limited, the SXBlue2 is designed to keep working and deliver the DGPS accuracy you need, 24 hours a day.
