DESCRIPTION
The Olympus TERRA field portable XRF analyzer is a rugged and portable device which has advanced dual XRD/XRF technology. Integrated with a direct excitation charge-coupled device (CCD) camera that allows collecting the X-ray photon data for both X-ray diffraction and X-ray fluorescence simultaneously.

  • Features include self-contained instrument-battery operated, easy sample preparation, loose powders, less than 150 µm sleeve sample, single button operation, XRD pattern image, energy discrimination X-ray detector, XRF spectral data for pattern confirmation, and avoid the fluorescence, scatter and other backgrounds. It has 802.11b/g wireless connectivity for remote control from the web browser. Suitable for petrochemical, pharmaceuticals, mining, and ores such as iron ore, calcite in coal, potash, limestone, and cement.
