How moisture analyzers work
The moisture balances can determine the amount of moisture using one of several different techniques. In some instances, the analyzer will heat up a sample and measure the difference between the masses pre and post evaporation. Other methods include measuring the water vapor that has been released after the combustion of the sample, and the third method involved measuring the water vapor equilibrium in a closed system.
About moisture analyzers
Moisture analyzers, which are also called moisture balances, are used as a means to measure just how much moisture is in a substance or an item. The amount of moisture that is in certain types of food can indicate the quality and even the freshness in many cases.
