KWIPPED Chosen as NC IDEA Grant Finalist for Spring 2015 Cycle

Wilmington, NC; May 11, 2015 –KWIPPED, a businesses-to-business rental marketplace, has been chosen alongside 9 other startups across North Carolina as a finalist for the NC IDEA Spring 2015 Grant Cycle. This is the 19th grant cycle for NC IDEA since its beginning in 2006. The organization has awarded $3.7M to 93 companies across the state.

The 9 finalist were chosen from a group of 26 Semifinalist. NC IDEA originally received 145 applications at the beginning of the grant cycle earlier this year.

Up to 4-6 grants will be awarded for this cycle. Grant awardees will receive up to $50,000 per recipient to support their business goals. Winners will also receive mentoring from successful entrepreneurs and investors, public recognition, and access to growth capital. Grant recipients will be announced in early June.
