DESCRIPTION
SE International's Radiation Alert Ranger is a handheld digital Gieger counter designed for detecting low levels of alpha, beta, gamma, and x-ray radiation. The digital readout is displayed with a red light and internally mounted beeper sounds when a radiation is detected. The audio indicator can be turned off for silent operation. Other features include an adjustable timer and adjustable alert. The Ranger comes with Observer USB Software that allows you to download data, set computer alarms and calibrate the instrument. Common Ranger applications include detecting and measuring surface contamination, screening for environmental contamination, detecting noble gases and other low energy radionuclides, and monitoring possible radiation exposure while working with radionuclides.

  • Accuracy (Referenced to Cs137): ±15% from factory and ±10% with NIST Source Calibration
