DESCRIPTION
Ideal source of distilled water for biotechnology and other critical scientific applications. Produces 4L/hr. of double distilled Type II water from single integrated unit. Similar to 8 liters/hr still, except that the two sets of vertical boilers and condensers are run in series so distillate from the first stage is redistilled by the second, resulting in exceptionally high purity distillate. Fully automatic microprocessor controls make operation simple. Units operate on tap or pretreated water feed. Models have 4 heaters. Dimensions: 74.9H x 48.3W x 38.1D cm (29H x 19W x 15D in). Operates on 220 to 240 VAC, 60 Hz. 6KW, 27 Amp. Specific resistance of water produces is typically in the range of 1.2 megohm-cm (0.8 µS) using tap water for feed.
