Considerations when renting or leasing a tissue processor
A tissue processor is a device that helps you to prepare tissue samples for use in clinical labs, such as for sectioning and microscopic examination. These devices are used in a number of different settings and labs, and they can be helpful in the field of forensics. To prepare the samples for analysis, they will fix, stain, dehydrate, and decalcify them.

Features of tissue processors

When you are choosing a processor, consider the size of your lab and think about the footprint of the processor. Make sure it will fit, and be sure it is capable of performing all of the tasks that you want and need. think about how often you will be using the device as well to determine whether you may need to rent or lease a second one to handle the flow of work through your lab.

How tissue processors work

Most of the tissue processors on the market are single unit devices capable of providing a range of different processing techniques. The labs can get a substantial amount of use out of them because of this. This helps to make the process far more efficient, since you can get everything done with a single unit. There are many different types and styles of these devices available today. Because there are so many options, the exact features and methods of operation differ from one unit to another.

These units are able to provide an ample number of benefits for the labs that rent or lease them. They are able to take variable workloads, and they are highly reliable. It is possible to take care of a large amount of work in a relatively short period. Some have dual processing units, and many can provide fast results without resorting to using high temperatures or microwave technology.

Most of the units are easy to use with the proper training, so most in the lab should be able to get up to speed with tissue processors quickly. They all tend to work similarly.

Tissue Processor Manufacturers

A number of companies offer these types of processors for the lab. Some of the options that you may want to consider are tissue processors from Tissue-Tek, Leica, Sakura, and Thermo Scientific.
