Dozer rentals

Considerations when renting a dozer

Dozers are available in a number of different sizes and horsepower, and it is important that you consider the type of job you are doing to help you determine exactly what you need. The smaller bulldozers will have around 80hp, while the large machines can have up to 850hp.

When you are choosing bulldozers, you will have two primary options - crawlers and wheelers. The crawler bulldozers have an appearance that is similar to that of a skit steer, and these are quite common for construction, landscaping, and agriculture. Instead of having wheels, they run on tracks. The wheeler bulldozers, as the name suggests, uses wheels. These tend to be quite a bit larger and could be a good option for larger jobs.

Features of dozers

Most of the dozers you will find for rent or lease today have very simple joystick controls. In addition, you can choose from a number of different attachments for the machine including rippers and blades. The rippers can help to remove packed earth and pavement, as well as frozen surfaces. The size of the rippers can vary, as can the size of the blades. Blades for the dozer come in a number of varieties, including the common S blade, or straight blade. You can also choose from U blades, SU blades, and PAT blades.

How dozers work

The dozer is actually a very versatile machine that's capable of many different types of jobs. They are commonly used for tasks such as backfilling, snow removal, sweeping, grading, ditching, removing stumps, excavating, as well as earth moving, and loading. As with many other types of heavy machinery, they are able to accept a number of different types of attachments to help them work for many other types of jobs.

About dozers

Dozers, or bulldozers, are pieces of equipment commonly associated with construction and building sites. They've been around since the early part of the 1900s, and over the course of the last century, they've been improved upon substantially with more power and more features. For example, many of the machines on the market today have simple joystick controls, hydraulics, and even automated monitoring. These improvements have helped to increase the level of productivity these machines are capable of delivering.
